To help the City Government of Olongapo in its vaccination program , Columban College , Inc. (CCI) has lend the city 30 computer units for use in registration and records management for its vaccination program at the
SMX Vaccination Center - SM Central Olongapo.
In October last year , CCI also agreed to convert its hotel in Bo. Barretto into a quarantine facility for Covid-19 patients. In return, the City Health Office ( CHO ) has facilitated the vaccination of CCI employees and students.
Full vaccination is important as the school is preparing for gradual return to face to face classes .
The partnership was supported by Most Rev. Bartolome Santos , Bishop of the Diocese of Iba as a response to the call for the Catholic Church to help in this time of pandemic.
Olongapo City Mayor Lenj C. Paulino and Dr. Rodrick Bustamante , Head of the CHO , represented the City while Rev. Fr. Raymann G. Catindig , President & CIO , and Dr. Amelia Cecilia C. Reyes , VP - Finanace & Administrative Services, represented CCI in the partnership signing.
