SEVENTEEN CCI STUDENT LEADERS JOIN THE PAPSAS III REGIONAL CONVENTION

Seventeen student delegates from Columban College, Inc. (CCI) joined the 18th annual Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services, Region III (PASPAS III) convention, held from June 13-14, 2024, to enhance their leadership skills and share best practices with peers from across Central Luzon. Themed "Strategic Directions Towards Better Student Affairs and Services," the summit aimed to empower student leaders, enhance their leadership skills, and share best practices through team-building activities. Student leaders from various Central Luzon schools participated in the event.

They engaged in an open forum to discuss ways to improve their learning environments and contribute more effectively to their schools and peers. Jade Mariel PareΓ±o, Marketing Officer of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council (IDCC), highlighted the importance of collaboration and teamwork.

"Effective communication is key to sharing ideas and listening to others," PareΓ±o said. "Showing kindness and understanding fosters a friendly and inclusive school environment." These insights on teamwork, communication, and collaboration helped guide PareΓ±o and his fellow student leaders in becoming stronger pillars of their school community.

Dr. Leilani Capili, RN, a member of the PASPAS III Board of Directors, supervised the CCI delegates.
